RandomBasis uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools people use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and similar, which give your browser an anonymous identifier so that returning visits are not counted twice. These cookies expire after two years, or sooner if you clear them.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell or share any data with advertisers. There are no advertising or social media trackers on this site.
Google Analytics records which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, what kind of device was used, and how visitors arrived at the site. It does not record anything you type into a tool. Every generator on this site runs entirely in your browser, so the words, names and lists you enter are never sent anywhere, including to us.
You can block them in several ways, and nothing on the site stops working if you do. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies in their privacy settings. Browser extensions that block trackers will block Google Analytics. Private or incognito windows discard the cookies when you close them. Browsers with a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting will also send that signal.
A few tools save your last-used settings — like a quantity or filter you chose — using your browser's local storage, so they're remembered the next time you open that tool. This is different from a cookie: the data stays entirely on your own device, is never transmitted anywhere, and is only ever read by the same tool that saved it.
