RandomBasis

Privacy Policy

The short version

RandomBasis tools do not require an account and do not ask for personal information. Generators run entirely in your browser — the options you set and the results you generate are never transmitted to our server or stored by us.

What we don't collect

Standard server access logs

Like virtually any website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical information for every request — such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp — in standard server logs. This is a routine technical function of web servers generally, used only for security, troubleshooting, and keeping the site running, not for tracking individuals or building profiles.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise returning visits. Separately, some tools save your last-used settings in your browser's local storage so they're remembered next time — that data stays on your device and is never sent to us. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Third-party services

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools are used. That means Google receives your IP address, the pages you open, and basic details about your browser and device, and it sets cookies to recognise returning visits. Google's handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policy.

We do not embed advertising, advertising pixels, or social media trackers, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers. Google Analytics is the only third-party service on the site, and you can block it without anything on the site breaking.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
